Alas, it’s been a while since an update. A rejection of the 1.1 version of iBlipper by Apple stalled efforts here, but we’re trying again and have posted a much enhanced version of iBlipper online. The update has been re-submitted after some productive community dialogue.

The new version of 1.1 version of iBlipper features:

• COLOR! You can customize the foreground and background color.
• Faster! Delays between words have been reduced and peformance optimized as well as vertical alignment tuned.
• Gesture flick up to go faster, down to go slower

In the full version, shaking on the settings screen changes to a different configuration of speed, effect, and color. There are still a few kinks in the online version that’ll get smootehd out shortly. Stay tuned for, hopefully, an update to the full version and availability in the app store.

You can now click (or tap!) the screen during the blip animation to gain access to the control panel for restart, new message, or speed & repeat controls. Here’s a pic.
